LTC Prep prepares shooters with important information and skills before taking the full LTC Class

Private instruction is available for those looking for a personalized training experience and want one-on-one time with a professional instructor.

These classes are built around your training needs and can accommodate an individual or a small group. This is a great opportunity if you are a beginner seeking better fundamentals or a seasoned shooter looking to increase skill.

LTC / CHL Beginners One 0n One Session
$150.00
This course is approximately 6 hours of training consisting of both classroom and range time. Your instructor will explain everything you will need to know regarding the range portion at the beginning of class.
While on the range, hands-on firearm usage/manipulation instruction is provided as necessary and to the skill level of the student. Basic marksmanship is taught: stance, grip, sight alignment, breath control, trigger control and follow through are highlighted as fundamentals to your accuracy.
PLEASE NOTE: Handguns and ammunition are NOT permitted in the classroom. Please leave them locked securely in your vehicle during class

Instructor Troy Gentris Sr. is a certified* LTC instructor in the State of Texas and Louisaiana has years of experience training others in the proper safety and use of firearms. He is an NRA Instructor as well He is an active Texas State Rifle Association member. The professionally developed LTC curriculum uses multiple training techniques and aides in order to help students learn the material and retain the content.


1. TAKE CLASSROOM PORTION4 hr min - 6 hr max: This section covers things such as Texas law regarding firearms, safe storage & situational awareness.

2. COMPLETE SHOOTING PREFICIENCYAverage 1 hr: 20 rounds at 3 yards, 20 rounds at 7 yards and 10 rounds at 15 yards.
Experienced Shooters - May take steps 1 & 2 on the same dayNew Shooters - You can do step 1 and finish your proficiency at a later time
